Ingredients
- Paneer (200gm)
- Ginger-garlic paste(2tsp)
- Tomato paste(1 medium size)
- Cashew nut(5-6 piece)
- Turmeric powder(1tsp)
- Red chili powder(1tsp)
- Coriander pdr(1tsp)
- Garam masala (1tsp)
- Fenugreek leaves/kasuri methi(1tsp)
- Fried onion(optional)
- Cream/milk(2tsp)
- Orange food color(a pinch)
- Oil as needed
- Salt to taste
- Sugar (2 tsp)
- water as needed.
Preparation
- Cut the paneer into cubes or as you wish. Keep aside.
- (You can shallow fry the paneer for 1 min,if it 2-3 days old ,if not use the same)
- Make a fine paste of cashewnut with some water.
- Heat oil in a pan,add ginger-garlic paste and fry 1 min and then add tomato paste,salt, turmeric pdr, red chili pdr,coriander pdr.Fry for 4-5 min by adding water.
- Now add cashew paste and some water to it and cook for a while.
- Now add the paneer, fenugreek leaves, sugar, garam masala and water. Cook for 2-3 min.
- Add cream/milk to it and switch off the flame. If you wish add some fried onion on it.
- Now your Paneer Makhani is ready.serve with Roti or Naan.
