Fish Curry


Ingredients
  • Fish (2-3 pieces)You can take any fish
  • Potato boiled(1 medium size)
  • Onion thinly sliced ( 1 small size)
  • Ginger-garlic paste(2tbsp)
  • Tomato chopped(1 small size)
  • Turmeric pwd(2tsp)
  • Red chili pwd(2tsp)
  • Garam masala(2tsp)
  • Bay leaf(1-2)
  • Kalonji/kala jeera(1/2tsp)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil and water as needed
Preparation
  1. Clean, wash the fish and mix with turmeric pwd and salt, keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fish till becomes brown.
  3. Now heat oil in a pan, add oil,add kalonji,bay leaf, onion and saute for 1-2 min.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste, salt,turmeric ,red chili,tomato one by one.
  5. Fry it till oil leaves out ,add little water and again fry.
  6. Add potato pieces,water, fried fish,garam masala and boil for 2-3 min.
  7. Now your Fish curry/ Machher Jhol is ready. Serve with steamed Rice.
