Fish Masala


Ingredients
  • Fish (2-3 pieces)You can take any fish
  • Onion thinly sliced ( 1 small size)
  • Ginger-garlic crushed(2tbsp)
  • Tomato chopped(1 small size)
  • Turmeric pwd(2tsp)
  • Red chili pwd(2tsp)
  • Cumin seeds crushed(1tsp)
  • Coriander pwd(1tsp)
  • Garam masala(2tsp)(Cinnamon and cardamon pwd)
  • Meat masala(1tsp,optional)
  • Bay leaf(1-2)
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar (1tsp)
  • Oil and water as needed
  • Coriander leaves
Preparation
  1. Clean, wash the fish and mix with turmeric pwd and salt, keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the fish till becomes brown.
  3. Now heat oil in a pan, add oil,add bay leaf, onion and saute for 1-2 min.
  4. Add ginger-garlic crushed(not finely paste), salt,turmeric ,coriander pwd,red chili,cumin seeds crushed,tomato one by one.
  5. Fry it till oil leaves out ,add little water and again fry.
  6. Add fried fish,garam masala,meat masala,sugar and cook for 2-3 min.
  7. Now your Fish Masala is ready.Garnish with some coriander leaves. Serve with steamed Rice and Dal.
