Ingredients
- Wheat flour (1 cup)
- Onion finely chopped(1/2 cup)
- Salt (1/2 tsp)
- Oil (1 tsp)
- Butter/ghee as needed
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Take a large bowl, add wheat flour, chopped onion,salt, 1tsp oil and make it a smooth dough with the help of water.
- Keep the dough in a air tight container for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes, make the dough into 5-6 big balls.Roll the balls by rolling pin with the dry wheat flour.
- Make it round or triangular shape.
- Now put a non-stick frying pan or tawa on medium heat, when the pan is hot put the raw paratha.
- Turn the paratha by adding butter/ ghee/vegetable oil on both sides.
- When the paratha turns light brown, take it out to a plate.
- Now your Onion Paratha is ready.Serve it hot with Curry or Pickle.
