Pomfret Fry



Ingredients
  • Pomfret fish (1-2)
  • Red chili powder (1tbsp)
  • Turmeric powder(1/2 tsp)
  • Coriander powder(1tsp)
  • Lemon juice (2 tbsp)
  • Ginger-garlic paste (1/2 tsp)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil (mustard oil tastes good or u can use vegetable oil)
Preparation
1. Clean the fish properly and make some slant cuts over the skin .(see the pic)

2. Make a paste of red chili pdr,salt and lemon juice.
3. Apply the paste on both sides of the fish and also the cutting areas on both sides.(see the pic)

4. Marinate it for 15 minutes.
5. Add ginger-garlic paste, coriander pdr, turmeric pdr on it and make a thick layer on it.
6. Shallow fry the fishes on both sides till it becomes golden brown.
7. Now your Pomfret fry is ready.Serve hot with salad.
