Ingredients
- Cashew nut (2 cups)
- Oil (2 tbsp)
- Salt(1 tbsp or to taste)
- Black salt(1/4 tsp)
- Black pepper(1/8 tsp)
- Red chili pdr (1/4 tsp)
- Roasted cumin pdr(1tsp)
- Chaat masala(1tsp)
Preparation
- In a large pan, roast the cashew nuts in oil over low-medium heat, stirring continuously, until cashews are golden brown. It will take about 8-10 minutes.
- Transfer the cashews in a plate, and let them cool off until they are warm. Cashews should be warm and not be at room temperature otherwise the spices will not coat cashews.
- Mix all the spices in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle over the warm cashews, and toss to coat them evenly.
- Store the cashews in an air tight container after they cool down to the room temperature.
- Now your Spicy salty cashew is ready. You can take as snacks or any time.
- Note: These cashews can be stored up to a month.
