Ingredients
- Poppy seeds/Posto(1/2 cup,soaked in water for 1 hour)
- Besan/gram flour(1tsp)
- Cornflour(1tsp)
- Onion chopped(2 tbsp)
- Boiled potato(1 large size)
- Green chili chopped(1-2)
- Red chili flakes(optional)
- Salt to taste
- Make a fine paste of poppy seeds by adding water.(the paste should be thick)
- Take a bowl,add poppy seeds paste,onion chopped,boiled potato,green chili,chili flakes, besan,cornflour,salt and mix all.
- Make round shape like tikki.
- Heat oil in a flat pan or tawa and put the tikki one by one.
- Shallow fry the tikkies till lightly brown.
- Take out the tikki on a paper towel.
- Now your Posto Tikki is ready. Serve with tomato ketchup.
