Rava Idli / Suji Idli


Ingredients
  • Rava/Suji (1 cup)
  • Yogurt (1/2 cup)
  • Green chili chopped (1tsp)
  • Coriander leaves chopped (2tbsp)
  • Cabbage/carrot chopped (2tbsp)
  • Salt to taste
  • Eno/baking powder (1tsp)
  • Water as needed 
Preparation
  1. Take a bowl, put rava, yogurt, green chili chopped, coriander leaves chopped, cabbage chopped, salt,water.
  2. Mix all and keep 10-15 minutes.
  3. After 15 minutes, add Eno/baking powder to the batter and little water to it.
  4. Make the batter for  the Idli batter consistency. 
  5. Grease the Idli frame by oil or butter.
  6. Put the batter to the Idli frame, cover the lid and put it on medium heat for 10 min.
  7. Take out the cover after 10 min,let it cool for 2-3 min and pick up the idli from the frame.
  8. Now your Rava Idli is ready. Serve hot with chick peas curry or Samber or chutney.
