Vegetable Pulao


Ingredients

  • Basmati/Long grain rice(1 cup)
  • Carrot chop (1/4 cup)
  • Beans chop(1/4 cup)
  • Green peas(1/4 cup)
  • Corn(1/4 cup)
  • Potato Chop(1/4 cup)
  • Black pepper powder (2 tsp)
  • cumin seed(1tsp)
  • Soya sauce (1tsp)
  • Salt
  • oil
  • Water(1 1/2 cup)
  • All vegetables should cut in same size.
Preparation
  1. Wash the rice and keep aside.
  2. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker(U may use pan also)then add cumin seeds.
  3. Then add all the vegetables, fry them for 1-2 min.
  4. Now add rice,black pepper powder, soya sauce and salt. Fry another 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add water and keep it on medium heat for 5 minutes or 2-3 whistles.
  6. Now switch off the heat and keep it for 5 min.
  7. Now your vegetable pulao is ready.
  8. Serve it hot with Onion raita or any other curry.
