Ingredients
- Rajma/Red kidney beans(1 cup soaked 5-6 hours)
- Onion (1 finely chopped and 1 finely paste)
- Tomato(1 large finely paste)
- Coriander powder(2 tsp)
- Turmaric powder(2 tsp)
- Chili powder(2 tsp)
- Rajma masala (optional)
- Whole garam masala(1-2 cinnamon, 1 cardamom, 1 bey leaf)
- Fenugreek leaves(1 tbsp)
- Coriander leaves
- Salt
- Oil
- Take the soaked red kidney beans/Rajma in a pressure cooker and add some salt and water. Boil it for 3-4 whistles on medium heat.
- Now heat oil in a pan, add chopped onion.Saute it for few minutes.Then add whole garam masala.
- After that add tomato and onion paste.Put turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, Rajma masala, salt. Cook it for few minutes
- Then add boiled rajma along with its stock.Add fenugreek leaves.
- Cook it for 10 minutes in low heat. At last add chopped coriander leaves.
- Now your Rajma/red kidney beans curry is ready, serve with rice or roti.
