- Egg (4)
- Onion (2 medium size)
- Garlic(4 cloves)
- Ginger(1/2 inch)
- Dry chili(2)
- Coriander powder (1 tbsp)
- Turmeric powder (2tsp)
- Chili powder (1tsp/optional)
- Cumin (1 tsp)
- Poppy seeds(1 tbsp)
- Clove(1-2)
- cardamom(1-2)
- Cinnamon(1/2 inch)
- Bey leaf(1-2)
- Tomato (1 large)
- Oil
- salt to taste
- Water (1 cup)
Preparation
- Boil the eggs and peel it.
- Chop 1 onion and 1 tomato.
- Make a fine paste of 1 onion, garlic, ginger, clove,poppy seeds,cumin, dry chili.
- Take a pan, add oil to it.When the oil is hot add boiled eggs and fry them for 1 minute and take them out.
- Then add chopped onion to that oil,saute for 1-2 minutes. Add Cardamom, cinnamon, bey leaf.
- When the onion become golden brown then add the masala paste, Turmeric powder, coriander powder, chili powder, chopped tomato and salt
- Fry it for 4-5 minutes.Add the eggs.Add 1 cup of water for gravy(adjust to your consistency of gravy) Cook it for 1-2 min.
- Now your egg Korma is ready. Take the eggs to a flat shaped bowl and cut them diagonally and put the gravy over the eggs.
- Serve with rice or roti.
