Ingredients
- Prawn (1/2 Kg)
- Onion(1 medium)
- Garlic(5-6 cloves)
- Ginger(1 inch)
- Coconut milk(1 cup)
- Puppy seeds paste(1/2 tbsp)
- White mustard seeds paste (1/2 tbsp) Optional
- Coriander powder (1 tbsp)
- Red chili powder (1tbsp)
- Turmeric powder (2 tbsp)
- Garam masala (1 tbsp)
- Sugar(1tsp)
- Water (1/2 cup)
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Preparation
- In a bowl, take prawn, salt and turmeric powder and mix it well.
- Heat a pan add some oil and fry the prawn till the oil leaves out.
- Blend onion, garlic and ginger and make it a fine paste.
- Now heat a pan, put some oil , then add the onion, ginger, garlic paste to it.
- Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, coriander powder, garam masala and fry it for 4-5 minutes.
- Then add coconut milk , puppy seeds paste, white mustard seeds paste, sugar, water and leave for boiling
- Add the fried prawn to the gravy and cook for 2-3 min.
- Now your prawn malai curry is ready. Serve it with Rice.
