Murg Do Pyaza


Ingredients
  • Chicken(500gm)
  • Onion sliced(1 cup)
  • Onion cube(2  cup)
  • Ginger-garlic paste(2tbsp)
  • Tomato chopped(1 medium size)
  • Turmeric pwd(2tsp)
  • Red chili pwd(2tsp)
  • Coriander pwd(2tsp)
  • Garam masala pwd(1tsp)
  • Bay leaf(1)
  • Sugar (1tsp)
  • Lemon juice(1tsp)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil and water as needed
Preparation
  1. Take the cleaned and washed chicken in a bowl and marinate with turmeric,red chili,coriander pwd,salt,lemon juice.
  2. Mix well and keep inside the fridge for half an hour.
  3. Now heat the oil in a pan, put bay leaf,sliced onion, fry till golden brown.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste,chopped tomato,turmeric,red chili,salt to it. Fry till the masala leaves oil on it.
  5. Add marinated chicken and cook for 10 min.
  6. Add Cubed onion,garam masala,water,sugar to it and cook for 2-3 min. switch off the flame. sprinkle some coriander leaves on it.
  7. Now your Murg Do Pyaza is ready. Serve with Roti or Naan.
