Mango Pickle

 

Ingredients


  • Raw mango ( 1-2)
  • White mustard seeds(4tbsp)
  • Black mustard seeds (1tbsp)
  • Fenugreek seeds(2tsp)
  • fennel seeds(2tsp)
  • small fennel seeds (2tsp)
  • Nigella seeds/ kalonji (1tsp)
  • Hing (1/3 sp)
  • Red chili pwd (2tsp)
  • Turmeric pwd ( 2tsp)
  • Mustard oil (1/2 cup)
  • Salt to taste












Preparation


  1. Wash & dry the mango  and cut into small pieces. ( see the pic)
  2.  Make a dry powder of white mustard seeds, black mustard seeds, fenugreek 
  3. seeds, fennel seeds.
  4.  Add all the ingredients in a large pot and mix with the mango pieces.
  5. Pour the spiced mango n a glass jar.
  6. Keep the jar for 2-3 days for sun dry.
  7. Now keep the jar in cool and dry place.
